B: Yeah, you bet I am a homebody. How about yourself?

A: Oh, right, I also binge on watching videos on YouTube.

對吼，我也喜歡在YouTube上狂看影片。

A: Bummer, we can’t travel abroad right now because of COVID19 pandemic.

討厭，因為COVID19疫情的關係我們現在無法去國外旅行。

B: Right, that’s surely inconvenient for us to travel abroad. But I think we can have a staycation.

對呀，確實對我們想要出國旅行的人是很不方便。但我想我們可以在家度假呀。

A: What is a staycation? And how can we take a staycation?

什麼是在家度假？而且我們要怎麼在家度假？

B: Well, it’s easy, we can either go on a picnic in a nearby park, visit some local attractions near our home or even we can book a luxurious hotel near our home and stay for a night.

嗯，很簡單呀，我們可以去家附近的公園野餐或是去拜訪家附近的景點還是訂一個豪華酒店在裡面過一夜呀。

A: Alright, all the three activities sound good. I guess we can visit some local attractions in our city and then have a picnic in a park near our home then. Because staying in a luxurious hotel is too expensive.

好，全部三個活動聽起來都蠻好的。我想我們可以拜訪一些家附近或是我們城市裡的一些景點然後在家附近的公園裡野餐。 因為去豪華酒店過夜太貴了。

B: Eh, no worries, I have got the national travel voucher and we can use it to get NT$1000 off the hotel we select.

欸，沒關係，我有一張國旅我們可以用來折抵飯店住宿台幣$1000喔。

A: Okay, then we can start planning which hotel to stay, which park to go and where we can visit in our city.

好吧，那麼我們可以開始計畫要去哪個飯店住，哪個公園走走，還有拜訪我們城市裡的什麼景點咯。

A: Yikes, you know what my boss asked me to work from home starting after tomorrow.

哎呀，你知道嗎我老闆要求我從明天開始遠距上班。

B: Huh, why?

哈，為什麼？

A: Well, one of my coworkers got infected by Covid19, so my boss informed us to work remotely in order to do self-quarantine.

因為我有一個同事感染了COVID19，所以我老闆要求全部的員工都要回家工作以便自我隔離。

B: That’s serious. Well, maybe you’ll start to like working from home, because you don’t need to be facilitated by your boss all the time.

那很嚴重耶。不過你可能會開始喜歡遠距上班喔，因為你不需要整天被老闆監督。

A: Yeah, that’s probably a silver lining.

對，那或許是一個小安慰。
